Patricia F. Peterson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Patricia F. "Pat" Peterson of Huntley formerly of Green Bay and Chicago passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Hearthstone Manor in Woodstock. She was born May 25, 1922 in Chicago, the daughter of John S. and Lucille (Thurnes) Flannery. On April 18, 1942 she married James Peterson Sr. in Chicago. Pat was a Programmer and Systems Analyst in Market Research at A. C. Neilson for many years. They raised their family in Chicago until her transfer to Green Bay in 1969. They spent many happy years there. She loved traveling the United States, especially their frequent trips to neighboring Door County. She was very talented in needlework and was a member of the American Needlework Guild as well as other National Needlework Organizations. A kind, loving and devoted mother, she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they brought her great joy. She is survived by her loving children; James Jr., William (Cheryl), Luana (Rick) Neuman and Charlie (Mary Ann), her cherished grandchildren Jamie (John) Weigel, Ryan (Jamie) Peterson, Stacy (Josh) Lezon and Michael (Diana) Neuman, her precious great grandchildren Samantha, Joshua, Elizabeth, Drake and Asher and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim in 1987 and her brothers and sisters John Flannery Jr., Lois Young, Barbara Proper and Robert Flannery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home 11603 E. Main St., Huntley and will continue Thursday, September 8 at St. Mary Catholic Church 10307 Dundee/Huntley Rd., Huntley from 9:30 AM until the 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial is Celebrated. Entombment will be at 1:00 PM in All Saints Cemetery 700 N River Rd., DesPlaines.
