Ralph James Brown, 81 of Marengo passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born August 23, 1931 in Chicago the son of Walter and Kathleen (Bushell) Brown. On June 9, 1954 at St. Viators in Chicago, he married Joan Frances Teidel. Ralph was deeply rooted in his faith and a very hard worker all his life. He loved to entertain and have parties with his family. He will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his children; Mark (Elizabeth) of Rochelle, Ralph (Jaymie Powell) of Marengo, Thomas (Donna) of Spring Grove, Kathleen Frances (Dan) Bates of Spring Grove, grandchildren; Jennifer, Ryan, Emily, Michelle, Jacob, Corinne, Dylan, Aaron, Ian, Justin, Molly, Isabel ,Aidan and great-granddaughter Ava. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joan , sister Colette, brother Don, Step-brothers; Earl, Leo and Harold and step-sister Margaret Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2:00 to 6:00pm with a 5:45 wake service at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 East Main Street, Huntley and will continue on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 9:30 am until the 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church, 10307 Huntley/Dundee Rd., Huntley . Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Hillside. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials in his name may be directed to the Hospice of NE Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, Il 60010
