Margaret A. "Marge" Piszczek

Margaret Ann Piszczek “Marge”, 94 years old of Bartlett passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 10, 2024. Margaret was born in Madison, WI where in High School she met the love of her life, David L. Piszczek. Following Davids military service and many of his love notes from both close and afar, they were blessed in marriage on August 22, 1953. Together they raised a family of her beloved four children living in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois and eventually after all were grown and settled, retiring to Keowee Key, SC. Marge enjoyed many years in South Carolina with Dave, hosting family get-togethers, playing golf, making friends, and enjoying life before deciding to move back to the Chicago area to be closer to her growing family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marge was a wonderful, caring mother and grandmother who lived to listen, smile, laugh, cook lots of “Marge” specials and enjoy spending time with her children, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Her other love was her grand puppies, who all loved her unconditionally especially when sharing the “grandma” recliner. Marge was also blessed with the gift of chat, making countless friends wherever she lived. She was a role model of how to love each other no matter the difficulties one faced and had a quick wit to match even the youngest in the family and always won with a laugh. Marge will be deeply missed as she left an amazing legacy of love. She is survived by her four children, Linda (John) Ringness, Doug Piszczek, Sandy (Jim) Enockson, Daniel (Judy) Piszczek); the pride of her life were her 10 grandchildren, Kira, Kara, Alex, Karen, Dana, Kristy, Liese, Chris, Ryan, and Tyler; and 14 beautiful great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, David Piszczek; and daughter-in-law, Corrine Piszczek (nee Larson). Funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, The Oaks of Bartlett, 801 Carillon Dr., Bartlett, Il 60103. Interment will be held on March 18th at St. Mary Cemetery in Huntley. Visitation will be prior to mass from 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Chapel.
